What is Erasmus + Placement?

This type of mobility allows UVVG students to do an internship in a company or organization in another country in the European Union. “Placement” is another name for the concept of practice.

Host organizations for placement mobility can be hospitals, medical centres, pharmacies, companies, training centres, research centres or other organizations including higher education institutions.

If you are a bachelor’s or master’s student, you can do an Erasmus + Placement mobility. You have the perfect opportunity to get in touch with large companies abroad even in their home country.

You can also benefit from Erasmus + Placement if you had an Erasmus + study mobility. You can benefit from a maximum of 12 months of Erasmus + mobility for each academic cycle.

Eligibility criteria

The conditions for benefiting from an Erasmus + Traineeship mobility are the following:

  • You are a student at UVVG and you have already finished the 1st year of studies at the time of departure
  • You have a minimum average of 7.00
  • You have 60 ECTS credits in your previous year of study
  • Language certificate level B1/B2 (in case you are not a native speaker of the country’s language)

Where can you do the internship?

Almost anywhere, as long as the host organization wants to take part in this program. Erasmus + Placement was designed to give the student the freedom to choose the place of their internship, as long as the skills obtained during the placement are compatible with the UVVG Student Curriculum.

There must be no prior agreement between the host organization and UVVG for this mobility. The student has the freedom to look for the organization, and he/she will contact the organization, in order to establish the details of the mobility.

Organizations where Erasmus + Placement mobility is NOT possible:

  • EU institutions or other organizations including agencies (full list at https://ec.europa.eu/info/index_en);
