The Erasmus + program allows students from Vasile Goldis Western University of Arad to carry out study mobility at partner universities in another country in the European Community.
The objectives of the study mobility within the Erasmus + program are the following:
- To offer students the opportunity to discover the advantages of a study experience in other European countries from an educational, linguistic and cultural point of view;
- To contribute to the development of human resources made up of qualified, open and internationally experienced young people as future professionals.
You can benefit from up to 12 months of Erasmus + mobility on each academic cycle (bachelor’s, master’s, doctorate) or up to 24 months for students of medical faculties.
You can also benefit from Erasmus + Studies if you have had an Erasmus + Placement scholarship.

Eligibility criteria
The conditions for benefiting from an Erasmus + study mobility are the following:
- You are a student at UVVG and you have already finished the 1st year of studies at the time of departure
- You have a minimum average of 7.00
- You have 60 ECTS credits in your previous year of study
- Language certificate level B1/B2 (in case you are not a native speaker of the country’s language)
Duration of mobility
An Erasmus + study mobility can be 3 to 12 months per academic year.
Erasmus+ grant
The amount for study mobility is 520 euro / month (except for the mobility that will take place in Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Turkey – for these countries, the level of the grant granted is 470 euro / month).

Selection process
After uploading the necessary documents, your file will be validated. You will receive an automatic email stating that you are considered an eligible candidate.
The last step of the selection process consists of an interview with the selection committee, held face to face or online. The date and time of the interview will be established by the committee and applicants will be informed accordingly.
